Spanish peacekeepers hit mine in Lebanon, casualties

BEIRUT, June 24 (Reuters) An armoured patrol by UN Spanish peacekeepers hit a land mine in south Lebanon today, and the peacekeepers suffered casualties, security sources said.

They said two UN vehicles were badly damaged and said there was an unspecified number of dead and wounded.
