Sena activists attack Hurriyat leader at Press Club

Jammu, Jun 24 (UNI) A group of Shiv Sena activists thrashed a Hurriyat leader of Mirwaiz group when he was addressing mediapersons at Jammu Press Club here this afternoon.

A group of Shiv Sena workers entered the press club when Chairman of Jammu kashmir Salvation Movement, Zaffar Akbar Bhat (a constituent of Hurriyat Mirwaiz group) was addressing media during his Poonch-Rajouri tour.

The activists attacked the Hurriyat leader when he refused to raise the slogan 'Bharat Mata ki jai'.

Meanwhile a police reached the spot and dispersed the crowd and took Mr Bhat, who had received a blow in his chest to GMC in a police gypsy.
