Raghuvansh personally favours Kalam for second term

Hajipur, Jun 24 (UNI) Union Rural Development Minister and RJD national vice-president Raghuvansh Prasad Singh today said he was personally in favour of second term for Dr A P J Kalam, but his party had dcided other wise.

Talking to newspersons here, Dr Singh said Dr Kalam was a multi- dimensional personality and-better choice for the post. The qualities of Dr Kalam proved him as one of the best presidents, he added.

However, being a member of the RJD he was bound to support the party's views and decisions, Dr Singh maintained.

Dr Singh criticised the working style of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, alleging that the latter was misleading the people of the state just by laying foundation of developmental schemes as not even a single scheme had come to the ground.

He alleged that the bureaucracy was dominating since Mr Kumar came to power.

No government could last long just by tall promises of development, he stated.
