Guj: Parmar remanded to PC for fake encounter

Ahmedabad, June 23: Deputy Superintendent of Police N L Parmar, one of co-accused in the fake encounter case of alleged gangster Sohrabuddin Sheikh and his wife Kauserbi, was today remanded to seven-day police custody.

Mr Parmar surrendered before the Chief Metropolitan Megistrate court last evening and was handed over to the CID crime branch that is investigating the case.

Three police officers of Rajasthan police who had surrendered last evening are expected to be produced in the court later.
