Fake visas of several countries recovered from cheat

New Delhi, June 24 (UNI) The Delhi police have arrested a notorious cheat involved in four cases of forgery and cheating, and recovered from him fake visas of various countries and tampered passports.

Bhupinder Singh, involved in cheating many innocvent people on the pretext of providing them visas to various countries, was arrested by the Delhi Police Special Cell near Janak Puri Metro station, while he was going to Punjab to deliver forged visas and passports.

On search of his car, the police recovered 25 passports, some of which were tampered with and some containing fake visas, besides 114 fake visas of European countries, seven for UK, 12 for Korea,, seven for Slovenia, seven for malaysia, three for Japan, 25 for US, three for Mexico and nine for Senegal.

Fake driving licenses of UAE were also recovered from his possession.

Search of his house also led to recovery of two fake dyes for embossing visas of UK and Canada and fake rubber stamps of embassies of various ountries.

On interrogation, Bhupinder revealed he was running this trade since 2002 under the garb of a computer institute.
