TN: Two drivers killed in lorry-van collision

Tiruchirapalli, June 23: Two drivers were killed on the spot and two others seriously injured in an accident involving a van and a lorry at Kothur village on the Tiruchirapalli-Chennai National Highway, here this morning.

The deceased were identified as P Ranjir Kumar (30), drive of the van and lorry driver G Muniandy (40), both hailing from Madurai district, police said.

The van was proceeding to Chennai from Madurai and the lorry was on its way to Madurai from Chennai, when the accident occurred.
