Trains cancelled or diverted due to bad weather

Bangalore, June 23 (UNI) Due to overflowing water at bridges between Nandyal and Diguvumetta Section of Guntur Division of South Central Railway, several trains were fully cancelled or diverted.

The trains cancelled included Vijayawada-Hubli Amaravathi Express scheduled to leave in both the directions on June 25, according to a South Western Railway release here today.

Following trains were diverted: Bangalore-Bhubaneswar Prasanthi Express which left Bangalore today was diverted to run via Dharmavaram-Guntakal-Renugunta, Gudur, Tenali and Guntur and on the same route from Bhubaneswar on June 24 and 25.

Vasco-da-gama-Howrah Amaravath Express leaving Vasco-da-gama on June 25 was diverted to run via Guntakal, Raichur, Hulkoti, Secunderabad, Pacidipalli, Nadikude and Guntur.

The Howrah-Vasco-da-gama Amaravathi Express leaving Howrah on June 23 was diverted via Guntur, Pagidipalli, Secunderabad, Hulkoti, Raichur and Guntakal.
