Silver down, Gold up in the closing session

Mumbai, June 23: Silver declined by Rs 55 per kg while gold rose by Rs 15 per ten gm in the closing session, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said today.

Following are the closing rates of silver and gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 18,195 (18,250), Gold (per 10 gm) Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 8,670 (8,660), Gold 99.9 purity pure Gold : Rs 8,720 (8,705).
