Rare animal sighted in Chhattisgarh
Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, June 23 (UNI) Two forest buffaloes, a species on the brink of extinction in Bastar division's forested regions, have been sighted by villagers near Bijapur district's Indira Gandhi National Park.
The sighting was made recently in the Sagmeta jungle by Sonampalli's residents. Forest Department sources said that the Sagmeta's grass is ideal for such buffaloes.
