Pratibha will be successful as Sunita: Dasmunsi

New Delhi, June 23 (UNI) Information and Broadcasting Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi today likened UPA-Left Presidential nominee Pratibha Patil to Indian-American astronaut Sunita Williams, saying Mrs Patil will be successful in her mission as Sunita was.

''The way Sunita confidently went in space and returned, Mrs Patil will also confidently win the Presidential election,'' Mr Dasmunsi said at a joint press conference with Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar after Mrs Patil filed her nomination papers.

Mr Dasmunsi congratulated Sunita for setting a world record of becoming the only woman to have spent more than six months in space at a stretch.

He also wished her good luck for her future missions.
