Rourkela, Jun 23 (UNI) A constable in the Orissa Special Armed Police (OSAP) force has been arrested for trying to sell one stolen AK-47 rifle.

Police today said Mahatma Kujur of the 3rd Battalion of OSAP in Koraput was yesterday arrested from Talsara in Sundergarh district and booked under section 379/411 of IPC and 25 of Arms Act.

Sources said the rifle belonged to Bikram Kujur, another constable of the same Battalion. A few miscreants attacked Kujur and looted his AK-47 rifle while he was returning home after performing his duty on the night of February 26.
