Monsoon awaited in MP
Bhopal, June 23 (UNI) The Southwest Monsoon is unlikely to break over Madhya Pradesh in the next three days, Regional Meteorological Centre sources said here today.
Isolated overnight pre-monsoon showers brought relief in Jabalpur, Sagar, Indore and Gwalior divisions. Barwani district headquarters' figure was 0.15 cm. One person was killed by lightning at that district's Bhatki last evening.
The world-renowned tourist destination Khajuraho, Sheopur Kalan and Datia were the state's hottest at 41 C. Over the next 24 hours, isolated rain is likely in Jabalpur, Bhopal, Indore, Hoshangabad, Gwalior and Chambal divisions.
