AP: Maoists blast goods train engine

Visakhapatnam, Jun 23: Maoists, belonging to CPI (Maoist), blasted the engine of East Coast Railway goods train at Darliputa Railway Station last evening.

More than 12 maoists stopped the train and planted bombs on both the engines. A bomb was planted at the railway station also, railway sources said here today.

However, bomb in one of the engines exploded while the other two failed.

They also seized communication sets from the engine drivers and took away few record books from the station.
