Dharmpal Research Chair in MP

Bhopal, June 23 (UNI) A Dharmpal Research Chair will be set up in Madhya Pradesh to facilitate research on the Gandhian thinker Dharmpal's writings, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said here while releasing ten volumes of the thinker's complete works.

''Western modernisation sounded the death knell of our village units,'' he said yesterday.

RSS Sahkaryavah Suresh Soni, who was the programme's chief speaker, said, ''the British ruined our villages' system of self-sufficiency and that is probably why respect still does not exist between the public and the administration.'' UNI
