Bank recruitment question paper leaked;exam cancelled

Lucknow, June 23 (UNI) The Special Task Force (STF) of Uttar Pradesh Police today arrested four persons while they were selling leaked UCO bank papers in Ghaziabad district.

Meanwhile, the bank management cancelled recruitment examination, which was scheduled to take place tomorrow.

Addressing a press meet here this evening, STF SSP Amitabh Yash said acting on a tip-off, Dilip Kumar, Sanjay, Prem Kumar and Bum Bum Kumar were nabbed in Kotwali area.

Ten sets of solved question papers, both in Hindi and English, Rs 25,000 and two cell phones were recovered from their possession.

While Dilip hails from Jaunpur, Sanjay, Prem and Bum Bum belong to Bihar.

On interrogation, the accused confessed they had obtained the papers from Sanjiv Kumar, a resident of Patna, and planned to sell them at Rs three lakh each.

A case had been registered.
