Two get RI under NDPS act in Bihar
Patna, Jun 22 (UNI) Additional district and sessions judge of Patna B K Srivastav today awarded ten years rigorous imprisonment to each of the two accused under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) act for dealing with contraband hemp.
The judge also slapped a fine of Rs one lakh to each of the convicts.
In case of failure the convicts will have to serve an additional one-year imprisonment.
Patna rail police arrested the accused at Rajendranagar terminal when they were smuggling 50 kg of contraband hemp on December 11, 2004.
