Sugar prices rises on better buying support
Navi Mumbai, June 22 (UNI) Sugar prices today rose on better buying support, traders at the Vashi Sugar Merchant's Association said.
Sugar in small and medium grades went up by Rupee one and Rs ten per quintal respectively, on reduced stock supply.
Ex-mill small and medium grades hiked by Rs ten and Rs five per quintal respectively due to increase in fresh demand.
Following are the spot wholesale rates per quintal: Small grade: Rs 1,315/1,355, Medium grade: Rs 1,361/1,440, Ex-mill small grade: Rs 1,290/1,395, Medium grade: Rs 1,345/1,375.
