New Appellate Authority for RTI in Army HQ

New Delhi, June 22 (UNI) Provost Marshal at the Adjutant General's Branch Major General AC Soneja has been designated as the new appellate authority under the Right to Information (RTI) Act for the Army Head Quarter, it was today announced.

An official spokesperson here said Maj Gen Soneja will receive all appeals relating to the Army under the RTI Act 2005 at the following postal address: Integrated Head Quarter of the Ministry of Defence (Army), DHQ Post, New Delhi - 110 011.

Hitherto, this authority was vested in the Director General - Discipline, Ceremonial&Welfare at the Army HQ.
