Minister suspends 6 PWD engineers

Agra, June 22 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh PWD minister Naseemuddin Sidiqqui today ordered the suspension of six engineers for irregularities in development work.

In a unsurprise inspection here, the minister detected that inferior quality material was being used for the costruction of roads and 'nullahs' in Shastri Puram area.

The minister ordered immediate suspension of six officials, including an executive engineer, a junior engineer and an assistant engineer.

He further warned the officials, that the High Court order regarding the completion of Mall Road here should be followed, else strict action would be taken.
