Bhubaneswar, Jun 22 (UNI) Train services between Koraput and Kottavalasa Railway stations in K K line were disrupted following Naxalite attack on goods train and Darliput station today.

East Coast Railway(ECoR) sources here said the Naxalites had snatched away the walkie-talkies from the driver and guard of Visakhapatnam-bound goods train between Darliput and Gorapur Railway stations and blasted the front engine inside the Orissa Andhra Pradesh border.

They had also kept bomb inside the middle engine of the train and Darliput Station Master's building and locked the door from outside and fled from the scene.

The bomb squads from Koraput and Visakhapatnam had rushed to the spot to diffuse the bombs.

The ECoR, sources said, was forced to cancel Visakhapatnam- Kirandul Passenger leaving Visakhapatnam on June 23. The Kirandul-Visakhapatnam Passenger will run up to Koraput and return from there to Kirandul tomorrow.
