Lightning kills three

Raichur,(Karnataka), June 22 (UNI) Three persons were killed and two others were injured when lightning struck their hut at Poojari Dodda village in Jayadurga Taluk in Raichur district today.

Police said that the victims were staying in a hut, located in the fields, which was struck by the lightning killing them on the spot. The deceased were identified as Thimmappa (65), Lingappa (14) and Shivamma (12).

The injured were admitted in Linganoor Government hospital.
