Foreign reserves at USD 211.015 bn
Mumbai, Jun 22 (UNI) India's Foreign reserves this week rose by USD 1.5 billion at USD 211.015 billion from USD 209.547 billion in the previous week, Reserve bank's weekly statistical report said today.
Foreign currency assets also went up by USD 1.5 billion to USD 203.646 billion from USD 202.177 billion in the last weak.
Moreover, the gold reserves in this weak remained unchanged at USD 6.9 billion.
The Country's reserve position in the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has diminished by one billion to USD 457 million from USD 458 million in the previous week.
The aggregate deposits of scheduled commercial banks in India is unchanged this week at Rs 26,45,774 crore.
The foreign currency assets expressed in US dollar terms includes the effect of appreciation or depreciation of major world currencies, said RBI.
The foreign exchange reserves include India's reserve tranche position in the IMF.
