Five die in road accident

Murshidabad, Jun 22 (UNI) Five persons were killed and 15 injured when a tourist bus collided head-on with a truck here early this morning.

Police said the accident occurred at National Highway 34 under Sagardeihi police station, when the Burdwan-bound bus collided with the truck, killing five persons on the spot, including the truck driver and a woman.

The injured were rushed to Raghunathvansh Hospital at Behrampore, police added.
