UP: Fake currency racket busted; two held
Muzaffarnagar, June 22: Two persons were arrested with fake currency worth Rs 52,000 in Kandhla area of the district.
Police today said the accused identified as Akil and Nadeem, both hailing from Saharanpur were arrested with 52 fake currency notes of Rs 1,000 during a routine checking last night.
They revealed the seized currency was made in Pakistan.
The accused had been sent to jail.
