Court grants bail to LJP MLA Rama Singh

Patna, June 22 (UNI) A local court today granted bail to LJP MLA Rama Singh from Mahnar constituency in connection with an attempt to murder case.

Additional district and sessions judge Ramanuj Prasad ordered the release of the MLA on two bail bonds of Rs 10,000 each and two sureties of the like amount each.

Mr Singh was languishing in Beur Central jail from June 15 in connection with the murder case.

He was named accused in an FIR registered at the Kankarbagh Police Station here on June 9.

According to the charges, the driver of a vehicle was brutally assaulted by Mr Singh and his associates after a road accident.
