Chargesheet filed against former DGP's ex-MLA wife

Gonda, June 22 (UNI) A chargesheet has been filed in a local court here against former Uttar Pradesh DGP's wife Geeta Singh and two others in a case of assault.

The chargesheet against the trio was recently filed, police superintendent Shachi Ghildiyal said here today.

On December 21, 2005, Geeta Singh and his aides Shivbaksh Singh and Amar Pratap Singh had allegedly barged in the residence of the PAC commandant and engaged in a scuffle a property dispute.

Geeta is the wife of former DGP Yashpal Singh, who is at present posted as DG, Police Training Centre (PTC), Moradabad. Mr Singh was a former Samajwadi Party MLA.
