Chandimandir Command Hospital gets CCU

Chandigarh, June 22 (UNI) Forming a part of the series of measures recently initiated by the Western Command to upgrade the facilities at the Chandimandir Command Hospital, a state-of-the-art Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) is today inaugurated by Western Command AWWA (Army Wives' Welfare Association) President Mohini Daljeet Singh.

Equipped with all the modern electro-medical equipment and facilities for the critically ill cardiac patients, the unit has been located adjacent to the ICU of the hospital for better logistical support.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms Mohini Daljeet Singh stated that the CCU fulfilled a long felt need of the hospital and promises to provide a major reprieve to the cardiac patients being admitted in the hospital.

Giving a brief overview of the newly created facility, Command Hospital Commandant Maj Gen VP Pathania informed Ms Singh that the CCU would help in providing specialised care to the cardiac patients and would also assist in closer monitoring of these patients. He also conveyed his thanks to the AWWA Prsident for her continous help, guidance and constant efforts for the improvement of the hospital.
