Best among the contesting candidates will be elected: Murthy

Bangalore, Jun 22 (UNI) Infosys Non-Executive Chairman and Chief Mentor N Narayana Murthy today appreciated the process followed to elect the new President of India and expressed confidence that best among the contesting candidates would get elected to the coveted post.

Speaking to newspersons after attending the 26th Annual General Meeting of the Infosys here, Mr Murthy said that as per the democratic principles, the political parties had chosen their candidates.

However Mr Murthy refused to react to some political parties refusing to back incumbant President Dr A P J Abdul Kalam for a second term.
