Well known racing comentator Harish dead
Mysore, Jun 21 (UNI) Well known racing commentator S N Harish, who did live commentary on racings in many parts of the country, died here last night following cardiac arrest.
Family sources said that 52-year-old Harish, who had undergone by-bass surgery recently continued comentary, fell ill last week and passed away in a private hospital.
He leaves behind his wife and two sons.
Trained under V G Ramachandran, Harish made his mark with his ability to read races accurately. He was well known for his other ability, to capture all the thrill of the sport in the tension filled movements when the race got down to a boil.
He had done commentary for Bangalore, Mysore, Madras, Ooty and during big events went to Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata and Hyderabad races.
Harish also wrote articles on races for a well known national English daily and worked as event manager for documentaries on racing.
