TRS closely watches NDA's move on Presidential polls
Hyderabad, June 21 (UNI) Keeping all options open, the Telangana Rashtra Samiti(TRS), former ally of the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance(UPA) at the Centre, today termed as ''significant'', the opposition BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) being open to the idea of fielding President A P J Abdul Kalam for a second term as the candidate of anti-Congress front.
Talking to reporters here, TRS President and former Union Labour Minister K Chandrasekara Rao said ''we are closely watching the fast-changing developments at the Centre.'' ''We will take an appropriate decision at the appropriate time'', Mr Rao, who had fallen out with the Congress and quit the Manmohan Singh Government over its indecision on formation of separate Telangana state.
