Syntel Inc opens new facility in Chennai

Chennai, June 21: Syntel Inc., a global information technology services and business process outsourcing company has opened its new facility at DLF SEZ IT Park in Nandambakkam, near here.

The new software development facility in 80,000 sq.ft built up area has a seating capacity of 750, a company release said here today.

The new facility will provide IT services to Syntel's global health, banking and insurance clients.

Syntel has invested around Rs eight crore in this new facility.

Besides, Syntel is about to commence construction of a SEZ facility on a 29 acre plot in Siruseri IT Park and expects to build nine lakh sq.ft in Phase one at an approximate cost of Rs 235 crore, the release added.
