Slight earthquake in Andaman islands

New Delhi, June 21: A 'slight' intensity earthquake, measuring 4.6 on the Richter Scale, shook Andaman Islands this afternoon.

The temblor occurred at 1428 hrs and had its epicenter at 10.3 degrees North latitude and 92.4 degrees East longitude, the Indian Meteorological Department said.

There were no reports of any loss of life or damage to property.
