Power situation remains comfortable, peak demand 3240 MW

New Delhi, June 21 (UNI) With Delhi continuing to experience pleasant weather, the power situation in the capital city today remained comfortable with the peak demand of 3240 MW being met without any substantial loadshedding.

Though the peak demand of 3240 MW, recorded at 1606 hrs, was a slight rise over the level of 3115 MW yesterday, the power supply situation remained comfortable with the load being met without any loadshedding, a Delhi Transco spokesperson said.

For the second continuous day, no under frequency relay was operated, he said.

Due to a few spells of pre-monsoon showers in the last few days in the national capital, the power situation in Delhi has improved with the peak demand being met without much loadshedding.
