Pleasant weather continues in Capital, mercury 33.1 Deg C

New Delhi, June 21 (UNI) Delhi's tryst with pleasant weather continued today with the cool easterlies maintaining the temperature seven degrees below normal at 33.1 degrees Celsius.

Though Delhiites experienced another dry day with rains eluding for the third consecutive day after several spells of pre-Monsoon showers over the last weekend, it was another pleasant day for the people with the weather alternating between Sunny and partly cloudy.

The cool easterlies brought down maximum temperature slightly, from 33.8 Degree C yesterday to 33.1 Degree C, seven degrees below normal.

The weather is expected to remain pleasant for the rest of the week with the weather experts, including the BBC, forecasting the mercury to hover around the 33 Degree Celsius in the coming three to four days.

The met office has forecast a partly cloudy sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours with possibility of rain or thundershowers accompanied by squall in some areas.

The maximum temperature is expected to be 34 Degree C tomorrow.
