Mobera Systems gets CMMI certification

Chandigarh, June 21 (UNI) Mobera Systems, a company which deals in software development, outsourced product engineering and contract R and D services, has become the first software company in this region to get an independent SEI CMMI Level 3 certification through SEI recognized SCAMPI Assessment Process.

The CMMI Process Model Framework, called CMMI for Development, Version 1.2, is the international standard and benchmark set up by SEI (Software Engineering Institute) of USA, for best practices in software engineering quality and is used by leading software companies for assessing and improving software development processes.

DQS India, a subsidiary of DQS GMBH, Germany's largest organisation for quality management system certification, and an authorized SEI Transition Partner, assessed and certified Mobera Systems on the basis of best-practices for software quality and reliability, project management, measurement systems and risk mitigation strategies as enshrined in the SEI CMMI Process Model Framework.
