CCEA approves extension of Swayamsidha project

New Delhi, June 21 (UNI) The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) today approved the extension of centrally sponsored Swayamsidha scheme for one year up to March 31, 2008.

The CCEA also permitted utilisation of funds totalling Rs 27.81 crore available under the scheme during the extended period.

The extension will ensure completion of unfinished tasks, Finance Minister P Chidambaram said.
