Bonded labourers rescued from A
Howrah, June 21 (UNI) Altogether 78 bonded labourers, who were transported to Andaman and Nicobar Island from Begusarai district of Bihar, were yesterday rescued by the Bihar Administration with help from the Andaman Administration and taken to Kidderpore Dock, Kolkata.
Magistrate-in-charge of the operation section of Begusarai District of Bihar had asked the Howrah Station Manager (Eastern Railway) to make arrangements for the return of 23 bonded labours.
Last night, 23 out of 78 bonded labourers boarded the Mokama passenger train to Madhupur from the Howrah station.
