Bihar: BDO caught red handed for taking bribe

Patna, June 21: Sleuths of vigilance department arrested a Block Development Officer (BDO) of Atri in Gaya district when he was taking bribe of Rs 10,000.

Additional Director General (ADG) Neelmani said here that the vigilance bureau had laid a trap following a complaint against the BDO and arrested him yesterday.

The BDO had demanded bribe for digging a pond at Atri.

The arrested BDO was brought to Patna for further interrogation and subsequent production in the special court.
