Hyderabad, June 21 (UNI) Taking strong objection to the Telangana Rashtra Samiti resorting to counselling to force employees of Andhra and Rayalaseema regions to return to their parent cadre, the Andhra Pradesh Non-Gazetted Officers Association today announced that it would hold a dharna before the collectorates in the regions on June 25.

Seeking the intervention of Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and Home Minister K Jana Reddy, Association President V Gopal Reddy and General Secretary P Subba Rayan told a press conference here that the TRS was subjecting them to ''mental harassment.'' The State capital belonged to people of all regions of the state, they argued.

Accusing the TRS of creating unrest in the state for ''narrow political gains'' they said ''We will not be cowed down by the direct action of the TRS.'' Terming as unfortunate, the Government's decision to transfer them to the districts while retaining employees from other states, they threatened to move the High Court against their transfers allegedly in violation of the Presidential Order.

''We are not against implementation of GO 610 or any other GO if they were in accordance with the Six Point formula and the Presidential Order of 1975.'' They demanded that the Government create supernumerary posts and retain them in services in Hyderabad itself.
