AP: AIYM Conference to be held on June 26
Tirupati, June 21: All India Yadav Mahasabha (AIYM) Conference will be held in Hyderabad on June 26 to pressurise the state government for implementation of their demands and backward castes issues, AIYM State President B Poorna Chandra Rao said today.
Talking to newspersons here, he said National Council members and State Executive members from 23 districts would participate in the Mahasabha and chalk out a plan to pressurise the government on 16-point charter of demands and BC issues.
Mr Rao said their demands included, implementation of GOs 559 and 1106 release in 1994, National Cooperation Development Corporation (NCDC) Act, increase in Other Backward Castes(OBC) reservation quota in education and employment and reservation in promotions.
He said the justice was not rendered to the BCs, the Congress government would be defeated in the coming elections like the earlier TDP regime.
AIYM State General Secretary S Maheswari Yadav urged the Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam(TTD) to maintain the Golla Mandapam structure in the same place.
She also urged to install the statue of Veera Narasinga Devaraya Yadav since permission was granted by the municipal corporation.
Yadav buildings should be constructed in the temple town on the lines of Sri Nidhi and other buildings, she added.
