3 Tibetan women among 4 arrested for smuggling
Champawat, June 21 (UNI) Four persons, including three Tibetan women were arrested with contraband worth lakhs of rupees at the Indo-Nepal border today in Champawat district of Uttarakhand.
According to the police sources, all the four were heading towards Delhi, from Nepal, to sell their contrabands that included woolen clothings, purses and other items worth Rs 1.10 lakhs. On a tip off they were intercepted at the Banbasa Check Post, arrested and handed over to the Custom Officers.
