Rains lash Udaipur, temps fall in desert state

Jaipur, June 20 (UNI) Heavy rains lashed Udaipur in south Rajasthan in the past 24 hours.

The weather office recorded 67.6 mm rain in Udiapur in the past 24 hours. Other parts of Rajasthan have also been receiving rainfall with Churu mapping 13 mm rainfall, Bikaner 11, Pilani 3 mm and traces in Jodhpur.

It is forecast more rains and thundershowers in some places of the state Jaipur will witness a partly cloudy sky tomorrow with temperature expected to hover around 39 degrees Celsius, it added.

Today the state capital recorded 37 degrees with high humidity.

Meanwhile, Barmer recorded 40 degrees and was the hottest in the state. Jaisalmer, Kota recorded 39, Dabok 36, Ajmer and Jodhpur 34, Ganganagar 33, Pilani 32 and Bikaner 31 degrees.
