Minitab to open office in India

New Delhi, Jun 20 (UNI) US-based Minitab Inc, the leading global provider of software and services for quality improvement and statistics education, today announced it will open a corporate office in India.

The company plans to open an office in Delhi in the immediate future and also is considering opening offices in Mumbai and Bangalore, said a statement.

''Minitab's customers in India are dedicated to excellence, and having a corporate presence in India will help them achieve it,'' said Minitab's chief executive officer Barbara Ryan.

''Our Delhi office will let us provide professionals in India with the tools and resources they need, locally and directly,'' added Ryan.

The Delhi office will make India the fourth country outside the United States to have a Minitab corporate presence.

Minitab software is used by companies like Reliance Industries, Tata Consultancy Services, GENPACT, Toshiba, 3M, and Jubilant Organosys.

Minitab statistical software is also used at major university in India and by the leading Six Sigma and quality improvement consultants.

Minitab Inc is headquartered in State College, Pa. It operates offices in the United Kingdom, France, and Australia, and has additional representatives throughout the world.
