Fake currency racket busted, man arrested

Lucknow, June 20 (UNI) Police today claimed to have busted a fake currency racket in Rakabganj area of Agra district.

One person identified as Manoj of Kazipada in Sadar bazaar area was arrested last night in Agra, police today said here.

A total of about Rs 2 lakh in illegal tender in the denomination of 500 and 50 were also recovered from his possession.

He confessed to have printed the fake notes with the help of a computer and printer.

Manoj had been sent to jail.
