Epicor alliance with Team Computers

New Delhi, June 20: US-based software solution company Epicor Software Corporation (ESC) and Team Computer today entered into a partnership to provide its services and solution to mid-cap companies in the country.

''The ERP market in India is expected to reach 250 million dollars in 2009 and 341 million dollars in 2011,'' said ESC Regional Sales Director Basil Daniells.

The company aims to market its whole new range of solutions with focus on manufacturing, distribution, retail, hospitality and services, he added.

IT-infrastructure solution provider Team Computers Chairman and Managing Director Ranjan Chopra said, ''There are around 10,000 mid-cap companies in the country, out of which we serve only 600. The ESC products are best suited to the demand of growing companies here.'' Team Computers expects to generate four crore revenue from the Indian market in the next one year, he added.

ESC Senior Regional Director said, ''We will study the Indian market in the next 12-18 months and then decide to invest on our weaker points.'' We see the demand for Enterprise Application Software (EAS) solutions on an upswing with the boom in the economy triggering a rise in IT spends, he added.
