Drug peddlers nabbed

Port Blair, Jun 20 (UNI) The Andaman and Nicobar Police have arrested two drug peddlers from remote villages of South Andaman Islands.

Police said here today that a team of Central Crime Station (CCS) of Andaman and Nicobar Police yesterday arrested one Samir Sil at Dhanikhari village and recovered one kg ganja from his possession.

On the same day, the CCS team arrested one Rohul Amin Mondal, who was selling ganja at his pan shop at Carbyn's Cove and recovered about 120 gm ganja from his possession.

Police added that both the accused persons were remanded to judicial custody.
