3 fishermen reported missing

Chennai, June 20 (UNI) Three fishermen hailing from Kasimedu in North Chennai area were reported to be missing since the last 13 days.

Police said the fishermen Joseph (40), Kumaran (35) and Kotteeswaran (32) had ventured into the sea in a rented fibre boat on June eight.

They were scheduled to return the next day.

As they did not turn up till today, boat owner Jayaraman lodged a complaint with the Fishing Harbour Police.

Police are investigating the case.
