TRS urges HC to implement G O 610

Hyderabad, June 19 (UNI) The TRS today urged the Andhra Pradesh High Court to implement G O 610 by providing job opportunities to Telangana people in the judiciary in the state.

Talking to newspersons, after the TRS delegation led by party President K Chandrasekhara Rao submitted a memorandum to the Chief Justice G S Singhvi in this regard, Mr Rao said the party urged him to take all steps to ensure proportionate representation on the bench from Telangana region.

The Chief Justice had assured the party that he would take necessary steps after getting the report of the three-member Judge Committee, constituted to study the representation of people of Telangana in the judiciary, Mr Rao added.

Stating that the 'Six point Formula and Presidential Orders' should be implemented in judiciary also, he said, ''the TRS wanted to ensure that the anomalies and disparities are checked and rectified.'' UNI
