Rain makes temperature pleasant in Bihar

Patna, Jun 19 (UNI) Smart showers early today, followed by intermittent drizzle has further cooled the temparature in the city and its surrounding areas.

Though the local Met office recorded the day's maximum temparature at 34 degrees Celsius due to an overcast sky, there was no sultriness.

The minimum temperature for the day was 24.5 degrees Celsius and the relative humidity was pegged at 80 per cent.

Weathermen here predicted light drizzle and occasional thunder showers at few places in Bihar, including Patna, during the night, which might reduce the temparature even further and prevent the return of sweltering heat.

Meanwhile, parts of Bihar, including Patna, experienced about 11.6 mm rain this morning, the Met office sources informed.
