Prime Minister calls on President

New Delhi, Jun 19 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh called on President APJ Abdul Kalam at Rashtrapati Bhavan today.

The Prime Minister briefed the President on his discussions with leaders of various counties during his June 7 to 9 visit to Heiligendamm in Germany where he attended the Summit Meeting of the G8 Countries and Outreach Countries (Brazil, China, India, Mexico and South Africa).

The two also discussed issues of national importance.

The meeting, which lasted 25 minutes, was part of the regular interactions between the two leaders.
